Birth-note His World War I draft card shows his birth as 4 Nov 1875. My mother's original records showed his birth as 1877, which was probably based on the 1880 census. Many of the WWI draft records have been found to be one year off. Since his parents were married in Mar 1876 it likely that his birth actually was 4 Nov 1876.
